Truffles: Idaho Edition!

The weekend of the 23rd-24th of February, we took a trip out west to Boise and then Eagle, Idaho to visit two customers of ours and for the Idaho Truffle Growers’ group meeting. Fabulous weekend filled with great networking, food, discussion, and troubleshooting among the growers out in the West Coast! Needless to say, truffles (Tuber borchii) were found! Check out these monster Bianchetto truffles found in under 20 minutes, weighing a whopping 2 lbs.! In addition, it’s great to see growers planting other species beyond Tuber melanosporum! Lots of good growers and truffles out there!
